Company History

In December 2005, Medavie EMS submitted a proposal in response to an RFP for an Enhanced Ambulance Service for Prince Edward Island. In January 2006, Medavie EMS was awarded the contract and subsequently established Island EMS to implement and manage the provincial system, which began operations in April 2006.
